TransCore has signed an exclusive agreement with Gentex Corporation, a major manufacturer of electronic rearview mirrors for the U.S. auto industry, to integrate TransCore’s Universal Toll Module™ (UTM) into its electronic rearview mirrors. For motorists driving across state lines or throughout the country, UTM offers a hassle-free driving experience by eliminating the need for multiple windshield-mounted toll transponders. The agreement is seen as a major advance toward nationwide tolling interoperability.
