Harris County Toll Road Authority (HCTRA)

Since 1992, TransCore has designed, built, operated, and maintained electronic toll collection systems for the Harris County Toll Road Authority (HCTRA) in Houston, Texas.

TransCore recently migrated HCTRA’s legacy roadside toll collection system to the Infinity Digital Lane System in 351 lanes system-wide. The system conversion project includes cash, coin, mixed-mode, open road tolling, all-electronic tolling, and express lane operations. TransCore is also responsible for maintaining the entire roadside system 24/7/365.

Since 2008, TransCore has provided image review operation services to HCTRA. Today, our team reviews more than 5,600,000 images every month using an innovative process that optimizes automation with manual review to exceed a 99.999 percent accuracy rate.
